As the founder and choreographer of Bayland Dancing, Mary Lima has successfully combined her passion for arts with her experiences in business in building this unique organization.

In 2002, Mary began a new chapter in her life by founding Bayland Dancing with a group of professional women in the Silicon Valley who share their love for traditional Chinese dance. Drawing from her early training as a Chinese folk dancer, Mary had choreographed and taught a great many dances, each with its own distinctive style. Over the years, the Bayland dancers have graced the stage at numerous ceremonies and celebrations across the Bay Area and received wide public acclaim.

Mary believes that happiness lies in living a colorful life. Through dancing, her heart never strays far from the passion and excitement she felt for life when she was accepted into a dance troupe at the age of 11. Through dancing, Mary will always find a place of peace and happiness in her soul.
